Keep Hope Alive!
The construction crew anxiously watched the as snow quickly fell on the highway. They were hoping the delivery trailer would arrive with their materials before there was an accumulation. After about two hours the small flakes had become large flakes and there was a three inch accumulation. When the weatherman announced the closing of the main road leading past their factory, the crew gave up hope. Just before closing the factory door, they heard a loud horn blowing. It was the delivery truck driver. They asked how he got there since the road was closed. He replied, “I didn’t use the main road, I came another way”.
Every now and then it happens like that. We look for what we need to come from one direction, but it comes from another. We never know which way God will make blessings available to us. Elijah discovered this. When the brook dried up, God showed him another way that he could be sustained. When one reliable source is gone or unavailable – our amazing God has many other resources to meet our needs. When one door closes – He can open another one. Try to keep hope alive in your situation.
