“And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.” (Matthew 14:23)

Keep Hope Alive!
Sometimes your schedule may get so busy that you miss spending quality time alone with God. There are times when we need to give Him our undivided attention. It’s good to pause, get alone with Him and talk to Him about the things that really concern you. Even Jesus took the time to be alone with God. He knew from his own personal experience how almost over-whelming the challenges in life could be. One night, while He was in the Garden of Gethsemane, He prayed “Father, if it be possible let this cup pass from Me. Yet, not as I will, but as You will.” (Matthew 26:39) Consider taking a few minutes to let the echo of your voice be heard in Heaven as you spend time alone with God today.
